TROY STANDIFORD

Troy Standiford is a poet and writer of short stories living in Baltimore County, Maryland.​ His debut poetry collection, INSTARS, came out in February 2026!
​
His work tends to focus on beetles found under overturned rocks, sprouts squeezing themselves through cracks in the sidewalk, and the ivy that grows on the side of that one abandoned building, among other things.
​
When he is not writing, Troy can be found going on nature walks, cleaning and caring for his fish tanks, ignoring his growing backlog of books and movies, and playing Pokémon competitively.
His favorite is Tangela.
